4th OF JULY--PROVO PARADE

Brother in law, Josh and his daughter, Maile, watching the parade. It was so hot!!!

part of the gang!

Chris and Brennan watching the parade. I think everyone had a good tim. It was a first for all of us. We normally spend the fourth in Gunnison and then in Clearfield, at grandma's for fireworks. After the parade, we floated down the provo river. It was cooold and very busy but so much fun. I really like floating the river. Afterward we had a barbeque and watched fireworks in Pleasant Grove. I have to be honest....I was very disappointed with the fireworks. Clearfield, it rated one of the best fireworks in the state, so PG didn't quite meet my expectations. Anyway, we had a lot of fun spending time as a family. It was also great to think about and celebrate the great veterans and the wonderful country we live in.
MISC PICS THROUGH JULY
Brennan just waking up. Look at those puffy eyes. He is so much fun.
The family dog!!....for about three weeks. If you think you want a dog, just get one. That should make up your mind for the rest of your life. No just kidding. But I really really don't want another dog until we have space outside and he/she definitely has to stay outdoors. By the way, she didn't die under our care, we just called it quits. Her name is Maggie, and she was really cute and really sweet.

Chris' surgery

My cute nephew, named Braxton. He is nine months old now. He has a sweet smile.
KORTNEY AND BRYNNLIE VISIT IN JUNE
Father's Day

Wow! It has been forever since I have updated this blog. We haven't been up to a lot of things between my last blog and now. Chris had ankle surgery on June 16th, so it's been a quieter summer for us. Anyway the photos that I am posting occurred the night before, on Father's Day. A guy stole a car down the street and picked up some buddies. On their way back toward the house (they must have been ditching the car near the home it was stolen from) they came up the hill going between 60-80 miles an hour in a residential area. Anyway at the top of the hill is a turn and they obviously couldn't make it. So.....we were inside the house and heard the collision. Thinking that people were hurt in the four way, next to the house, we raced out the door and found the pile up on our own front lawn, involving both of the family cars. Happy Father's Day Chris! :) Both cars were totaled by the insurance. All in all, we are just really happy that no one was hurt. Besides it saving us on gas money!!! By the way, Chris is pulling that face on purpose. He wasn't really that distraught.
