One Week Old

Natalee came over to the house and shot some newborn pics.  Thanks Natalee!  I had a lot of fun and I love the pictures.  This was Brennan's first time holding his little sister.  You can't see it in this picture but he had a smile of pure delight.  It was adorable to watch him.  He is so excited to have a baby in the house.  A little too excited.  He tries to shove the pacifier in her mouth each time she cries and he's even attempted taking her out of the swing.

We are so excited to have Jenna here finally.  She is a wonderful baby and this experience has just added to the joy of parenting.  I love being a mom and Chris is a wonderful father.  We love you Brennan and Jenna!

So precious!  He is so sweet with her!

My favorite picture...so far!

Going home pictures

These are some of my favorites.  She is a big girl.  I can remember putting Brennan in this car seat and he didn't fill it like she does.  She looks more like a month old rather than two days.

pics at the hospital

We think she is beautiful!  Brennan wasn't quite sure what to think of her, but he is loving his baby sister now.  You'll notice on this last pic that the nurses posted a sign that she is "bruised not blue."  You just wouldn't believe the solid bruise.  Her face was a charcoal color for the entire first day.  She looked like she wasn't breathing.

The Photograher

Brennan stayed Chris' parents for most of our stay at the hospital.  On the day of the delivery, Wednesday, Ashley (chris' sister) received her mission call to Lansing, Michigan.  Apparently, Brennan was given the camera during the big event.  By the time he arrived that evening at the hospital he had taken about 200 pics and another 100 at the hospital.  It was so cute.  He would tell you "cheese"  and snap about 15 pics in one minute.  He even checks the screen during and after the picture.  It was impressive and very cute!!!

It's a GIRL!!!!

The color is real....And we promise, Chris is the dad! :)  She was stuck for about a minute and a solid bruise was the result.  She was 9 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long.  We have named her Jennalyn Webb.  At times she reminds us of Becki, at others of Chris.  She pulls some of the same faces that Brennan did.  It's anybody's guess who she will look like.

Two days before the delivery
